Acceptable Use Policy

TwinFont edits text in images. That is a powerful thing to be able to do, so we draw a clear line around it. By using the service you agree to the rules below.

What TwinFont is for

• Fixing typos, dates, prices and names in your own graphics, posters, banners and social posts.
• Localising or translating text in marketing assets you have the right to modify.
• Repairing garbled text in AI-generated images.
• Building mockups, demos and documentation from product screenshots.
• Redacting personal information (names, emails, phone numbers) before sharing a screenshot.
• Removing captions, timestamps or labels from images you own or are licensed to alter.

What you may not do

You may not use TwinFont to create or alter an image in order to deceive someone or to misrepresent a fact. In particular you may not edit:

1. Identity documents — passports, national ID cards, driver licences, residence permits, visas.
2. Financial instruments and records — bank cards, cheques, bank statements, balance or transfer screenshots, payment confirmations.
3. Receipts, invoices and order confirmations — including delivery and tracking screenshots.
4. Certificates and official documents — diplomas, licences, test results, medical records, legal notices, government letters.
5. Chat and message screenshots with the intent to fabricate what someone said.
6. News, quotes or statements attributed to real people or organisations in a misleading way.
7. Other people's copyrighted work or watermarks without permission, including removing a creator's watermark to reuse their work.
8. Trademarks and brand assets you do not own or are not licensed to use.
9. Anything that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit involving real people.

How we enforce this

• Every uploaded image is classified before editing. Images recognised as identity documents, bank cards, receipts, certificates or payment screenshots are blocked automatically. Local blur / redaction remains available for those images because hiding information is a legitimate privacy use.
• Edited images are rendered by an AI model that may embed provenance signals in its output.
• Accounts used for prohibited edits are suspended without refund. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
• Our detection is not perfect. Being able to complete an edit does not make it permitted.

Reporting misuse

If you believe an image edited with TwinFont is being used to deceive, please contact us through the support widget or the email address in the footer. Include the image or a link to where it appears.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
